Celtic got their new campaign off to a winning start with an ultimately comfortable win against Project Ball.
A good, (mostly) punctual turnout allowed plenty of time for planning and it showed with a strong defensive display giving away few chances. Celtic will be disappointed not to have grabbed a few more goals, with set-pieces looking especially dangerous, but after surviving pressure to take the lead from a corner, the result never looked in doubt.
A second goal was brilliantly worked with the returning Joey rolling back the years to smash home into the top corner. The late kickoff also allowed a short cameo from Cho, and he set up Obed to complete the victory.
Overall, a solid if unspectacular win, with the interesting refereeing nothing more than a footnote. Onward and upwards!
